A few days ago, I was stabbed in the eyeball by a tiny twig... it didn't hurt me, though it was startling, and I had to carefully pull it out.
I was telling Laura about it and I decided to embellish the story just a little bit: I said that after that, the eye was okay, except that I could now see ghosts through it. Ghosts!
Then I started really liking that idea... I thought it would make for a great movie screenplay.
But today I discovered
this Japanese movie and its American remake
The Eye.
Synopsis of the Japanese film: "A blind girl gets a cornea transplant so that she would be able to see again. However, she got more than what she bargained for when she realised she could even see ghosts. And some of these ghosts are down right unfriendly. So she embarks on a journey to find the origins of her cornea and to reveal the history of the previous dead owner."
That sounds freaking awesome. I'm a genius.
My question is: I'm thinking of suing them all. Do you think I have a case?
